Aramark is our food service management company beginning with the 2025-26 school year.
The Aramark food service manager is Kristen Lella. The school food office can be reached at 516-612-5493.
The Lynbrook Public Schools contracts with Aramark to provide breakfast and lunch services for all Lynbrook students.

The Lynbrook School District believes that one of the most important ways we can help our children perform better in their classrooms is to provide them with the nutrition necessary for the healthy growth of their minds and bodies. We invite students to participate in the food service program. New York State’s Universal Free School Meals program continues this school year, providing first meals (both breakfast and lunch) at no cost to students. See the District’s website for more information. If the Universal Free School Meals program ends, or if students want second meals, they may buy breakfast for $3.15 and lunch for $4.50 each day. Children from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible for free meals or reduced-price meals regardless of whether the Universal Free School Meals program continues.
If the Universal Free School Meals program mentioned above ends, the Board of Education recognizes that, on occasion, students may forget to bring meal money to school or may not have money on their MySchoolBucks account. To ensure that students do not go hungry, but also to promote responsible student behavior and minimize the fiscal burden to the district, the Board will allow students who may forget meal money to “charge” the cost of meals to be paid back at a later date. Go to the MySchoolBucks website to register for a free account. Parents who have existing accounts can simply add new students to their accounts. A program fee may apply. You will have the opportunity to review any fees and cancel if you choose before you are charged. For support, contact My School Bucks directly either by email (support@myschoolbucks.com), phone (1-855-832-5226), or by visiting myschoolbucks.com and clicking on Help. You will need your child’s ID number in order to set up the account.
We hope to be able to launch the ability to sell a la carte items at the elementary schools this year, such as milk and snacks. A la carte items are not covered by the New York State Universal Free School Meals program and must be paid for. If you have an existing MySchoolBucks account for your student, you may want to consider keeping that account open to allow your student to order a la carte items when those become available for purchase. If your student does not have an existing MySchoolBucks account, you can set one up by going to MySchoolBucks and creating a new account. You will need your student’s ID number in order to do so.
Many families may qualify for help buying groceries through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP provides monthly benefits on an EBT card that can be used to purchase healthy food at participating stores. Eligibility is based on household size, income, and certain expenses, and many working families qualify.
Families can apply on line through New York State, by phone, or through their local Department of Social Services. A printable application and additional resources are available below.
